House Delays ICD-10 Implementation by 1 Year, Extends Therapy Exception Cap

Today the Senate voted on bill H.R. 4302, which contains the delay of the SGR patch (Sustainable Growth Rate Medicare reduction) along with the ICD-10 implementation date to 10/1/2015. Barring any last minute veto by the president, it appears as if ICD-10 will be put off until next year.

Even though TheraOffice had already been undergoing the changes needed for the 2014 implementation of ICD-10, we will be putting that on hold until further instructions are provided regarding implementation in 2015.
